At first, I thought this was just another bishonen anime for girls, along with the requisite yaoi elements.

Then my housemate showed me a few scenes.

Ok, so my assumptions weren't far off, but it's actually quite enjoyable. Haruhi on the other hand, feels pretty bland now, although Higurashi still has mind-boggling plot twists.

Meanwhile, I've also gotten back into World of Warcraft. It's a lot more enjoyable when you use Ventrilo or TeamSpeak. Makes it easier to remember there are people behind those characters.

Well, made some progress on my research project. Yay! At least I'll have something working to show for tomorrow. Now to bed.

I decided to take morning shifts (8am!) thinking that it would help me adjust my sleep schedule to something more normal. However, it's not working, and all it's resulting is in me not getting enough sleep for 4 days of the week, and sleeping extra for the other 3 days.

SFZero is a Collaborative Production Game. Players build characters by completing tasks for their groups and increasing their Score. The goals of play include meeting new people, exploring the city, and participating in non-consumer leisure activities.
Think of it as a MMORPG without the O. Which means you basically get to play as yourself while completing tasks you would never do as the real you.

Tasks range from stuff like telling your parents that you joined the CIA, to tipping in a non-tipping industry, to digging through trash for something still usable, to putting a flag up on Sutro Tower.

So I submitted my portion of the code first to avoid merging issues. Then someone somehow overwrote my code without realizing it, and without merging either (and when I did an update on my own code, it just overwrote my code as well, thinking there was no conflict, since my code was from the previous revision). So I still had to merge that overwritten part anyway. O_o

Finally we managed to go to an Indiant restaurant. Very saucy.

Left bright (foggy) and early. Jenny originally invited me, then had to change to David going, then David couldn't go, so Jenny ended up going again. Then Catherine and her former roommate and roommate's boyfriend came. So for $27, we had a free lunch, access to the place, and a return ticket. Pretty good deal.

Got myself soaked with the water rides (hot sun, which was cooler than expected dried us pretty quickly though). Rollercoaster rides were good I guess. These rides aren't that scary to me, and for most of them, only the very first drop had any thrill from the free fall feeling, the rest of it is usually just being pressed against the chair. Speaking of the chair, the way those locks worked was more scary than the rides, especially the way they would get locked pretty tight, and might get even tighter during the ride, so then you get the worry of being crushed by it instead.

Expensive parking too.

After that, we went to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory before heading back.

Some guy played this song during a PVP roll group in World of Warcraft (total domination in every game!). Now I'm addicted to it. It's a DDR song, which tend to be catchy.
